Surrounding the morpho are a variety of light and dark butterflies, creating a beautiful mandala.

About Our Butterflies + How They're Sourced: These Peruvian butterflies are "farm raised" in a large section of land to protect them from outside predators. They have an average lifespan of one week to two months, and live out their entire life cycle. After the butterflies die, they are gently picked up and preserved. Our butterflies are not endangered, therefore not included in the list of species protected by the Peruvian State or listed with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
